Building with SDCC 4.6.0 emits tons of warnings e.g.: cmd_parser.c:31: warning 356: object in read-only code space should be const cmd_parser.c:36: warning 357: pointer to object in read-only code space should be pointer to const These of course become fatal when building with --Werror. Comparing resultant binaries, it seems that a single string is shifted (deduplication?) but the numbers emitted at the end of the build are otherwise identical.

* Host-side bench for the httpd transmit path.
*
* Compiles the UNMODIFIED httpd/httpd.c and uip/uip.c and drives them through a
* real handshake and a real GET from a client that moves its receive window.
* Everything below the two modules - flash, console, JSON pages - is mocked
* here, so what the bench observes is the byte stream the firmware would put on
* the wire.
*
* The file served out of the simulated flash carries a position-dependent
* pattern, so a duplicated or skipped range shows up as a mismatch at a known
* offset instead of an anonymous "content differs".
*
* Run: make -C test (exit code 0 = all scenarios pass)
